The episode begins with Ruhi crying, and Armaan arrives to comfort her. He reassures her that they will convince Manish about their marriage. Ruhi, still emotional, questions Armaan about his sudden agreement to the marriage after previously asking for time. Armaan admits he was scared and didn’t want to hurt her anymore, which is why he agreed to the marriage. However, Ruhi interprets this as a lack of love from Armaan. He tries to explain that while he may not have much to offer, he is loyal and has changed a lot over time. He expresses his belief in their peaceful future together and the mutual support they can provide each other, emphasizing that he no longer misses Abhira and values the peace they have.
Meanwhile, Abhira is introduced to her new boss. Mishra, presumably her colleague, speaks highly of her and suggests a salary raise. During the meeting, Abhira mentions she is awaiting her exam results and marksheet. However, the boss suddenly receives a call and, in an abrupt turn, tells Abhira she is being fired and must leave immediately, despite her protests. Distressed, Abhira exits the office in tears.
Krish, sensing something is wrong, video calls Abhira and notices her distress. Despite her evident sorrow, Abhira lies to Krish, claiming she is happy and even received a salary hike. Krish remains concerned and tells Madhav that he believes Abhira is the best match for Armaan. As this conversation unfolds, Armaan overhears it, adding another layer to the evolving dynamics.
Ruhi visits Manish and Swarna to wish them a happy anniversary and pleads with Manish not to take away her rights. Manish cuts the cake and feeds Ruhi a piece, then she urges them to have some too. Swarna confides in Manish, expressing her suspicion, “I feel there’s something between them. Are you sure Armaan doesn’t love Abhira and only loves you?” Ruhi reassures her, “I won’t lie. I trust Armaan and our love. I’m certain that fate won’t separate us.”
Meanwhile, Abhira enters her room to find her belongings scattered on the bed. The broker informs her, “Your separation has happened. You can’t stay here. I have the marriage cancellation papers.” Abhira protests, and he responds, “Fine, you can stay, but I need more rent.” She pays him and sternly says, “Go out, and don’t ask for rent again.” After he leaves, she laments her dwindling finances, feels weak, and faints. Armaan, who is nearby, falls off his bed.
The broker, noticing Abhira unconscious on the floor, enters her room and moves to touch her but stops when she receives a message. He inadvertently sprinkles water on her, reviving her. She wakes up and accuses, “You came here again.” He explains, “You fainted, so I came to help,” but she scolds him and demands he leave. After he exits, she sees missed calls and a message from Manisha. Listening to the audio, Abhira resolves, “No, I must stay strong.” Meanwhile, Armaan worries unnecessarily about her well-being, both feeling sad as “O Meherbaan” plays.
Later, the broker returns to Abhira. She opens the door, and he makes an excuse to be there. Meanwhile, Ruhi gives an anniversary invitation to Dadi, apologizing, but Dadi leaves without agreeing to come. Ruhi tells Armaan, “Dadi isn’t agreeing.” Armaan reassures her, “I will fix everything once this party happens.” Ruhi hugs him, smiling, while Armaan, unable to sleep, decides to go out for a walk.
