Dadi intervenes, urging Abhira to consider all that Armaan has done for her and implying that she should be willing to bend the truth for his sake.
Despite Abhira’s protest about not speaking ill of her mother, Dadi subtly manipulates her emotions by reminiscing about her mother’s aspirations. She then offers Abhira a checkbook, emphasizing that it’s fully endorsed and urging her to prioritize false testimony over everything else.
