The episode begins with Manish admitting that he wasn’t ready for the marriage but felt compelled to agree for Ruhi’s sake. He pleads for Ruhi to receive lots of love. Ruhi approaches Armaan, expressing her delight at the special gift he sent.
Meanwhile, Abhira, in distress, demands the bus driver stop, threatening to jump if he doesn’t comply. Despite the conductor’s protests, the bus eventually stops, and Abhira makes her escape.
Back at the wedding, Charu brings the garlands, and Armaan, lost in thought about Abhira, hesitates. Vidya prompts Armaan and Ruhi to exchange garlands, but Armaan steps back, causing the garlands to fall. Amidst the chaos, Abhira continues running, determined to do something.
Armaan then breaks the silence, apologizing to Ruhi, confessing he can’t marry her because he loves Abhira. The revelation shocks everyone, and Ruhi, heartbroken, demands to know who Armaan loves. When he admits it’s Abhira, Manish attempts to console Ruhi.
Manish confronts Armaan about his feelings, and despite being slapped multiple times, Armaan insists he loves Abhira and can’t deceive Ruhi. He explains that marrying without love would be a betrayal. Manish, furious, accuses Armaan of being deceitful for bringing Ruhi to the wedding mandap despite not loving her. Armaan, acknowledging his mistake, apologizes sincerely.
Ruhi intervenes, defending Armaan as her would-be husband. Despite her efforts to save face, Armaan remains resolute, professing his love for Abhira repeatedly. Ruhi accuses Armaan of being confused and in guilt over breaking a promise to her mother, but he firmly denies it, stating his love for Abhira.
Ruhi, desperate, reminds him of his promise that life with her would bring peace, but Armaan insists that a loveless marriage would bring no happiness for either of them. Ruhi begs, promising to love him, but Armaan remains steadfast in his decision.
He says, “I love Abhira.” She responds, “Where is Abhira? I’m with you and will always be.” Abhira then asks, “Why did you call me here, and why are you in hospital clothes?” Ruhi replies, “It’s our wedding today.
Come, we need to marry before the auspicious time ends.” Madhav adds, “That person allowed me to use his phone. Your and Armaan’s…” Suddenly, Abhira faints. He urges her, “Open your eyes.” Ruhi insists, “You don’t love me, but we’ll still be happy.”
Manish advises, “Don’t risk your life.” She retorts, “I will talk to him.” Manish argues, “He doesn’t deserve you. The Poddar family has tested my patience today; I sever all ties with them.” Dadi pleads, “Don’t say this. Ruhi is like our daughter. Armaan’s feelings will fade in a few days.” Armaan protests, “I truly love Abhira. My feelings won’t diminish.” Manish declares, “We’ll end this matter here. Take the baraat back.” He shouts angrily at them.
Suwarna tells Armaan to leave. Ruhi begs him to stay, but they all depart. Ruhi cries out in anguish. Madhav inquires about her condition. The doctor explains, “This is due to stress. Are you a patient here?” Madhav replies, “I’m a policeman. This questioning is my job. You just treat her.”
Dadi slaps Armaan and laments, “You humiliated me. You broke me today. Bravo…”
