The episode begins with Manish blessing Abhira, feeling an uneasy sense of impending loss regarding Akshara. Abhira departs in a cab. Meanwhile, Armaan takes a bath and reminisces about Abhira when he sees her toy tortoise and a family photo.
Manisha enters, and Armaan confesses he can’t repay the family’s love. She points out that he loves Abhira. Armaan acknowledges his feelings but insists he can’t hurt Vidya, who gave him a new life. Manisha urges him to think of his own happiness and Abhira’s, but Armaan believes it’s too late, feeling it’s his fault their hearts can’t unite.
Manish prepares to apply haldi to Ruhi, but Swarna stops him, noting the auspicious time has passed. Manisha encourages Armaan to fight for his love, emphasizing that people make great sacrifices for love. Armaan, however, states that he would risk his life but not hurt his mother; he is determined to marry for her sake. Ruhi, defiant, tells Manish to proceed with the haldi, stating that her love isn’t bound by auspicious timings. She declares that her haldi and wedding will happen today.
Abhira urges the cab driver to speed up. A doctor calls Sanjay, informing him that Madhav has regained consciousness and is mentioning Armaan and Abhira’s names. Sanjay decides to head there immediately.
As the song “Kabhi Banke” plays, Ruhi receives the haldi application. Armaan prepares for the ceremony, while Abhira is in tears. Vidya ties the pagdi on Armaan, wishing happiness for him and Ruhi. Sanjay arrives at the hospital only to find Madhav missing, and he reprimands the doctor. Ruhi urges Swarna to hurry, feeling confident she will finally get her love today. Abhira, feeling isolated, insists she must leave, having no one left.
Armaan sits despondent as Dadi watches. Manisha thinks Armaan’s happiness lies with Abhira and urges him to fight for it. Kajal hopes that Armaan and Abhira’s separation remains intact to prevent the wedding. Ruhi shows pictures of herself and Armaan to Surekha, who notices something odd in Armaan’s display picture. She points out there might be someone else in it. Ruhi’s phone falls before she can inspect closely. Abhira faces a series of setbacks, including a broken slipper, and expresses her wish to avoid any more drama in Mussoorie.
Dadi says, “You proved it, Armaan. You aren’t like Madhav. You are my grandson, and then Madhav’s son. I love you a lot.” Vidya, happy, comments, “Maasa said this for the first time.” Manish adds, “I’ve explained it to you many times, but remember, this house will always be yours. If there is any problem, come back home.” Ruhi assures, “Armaan and I will come together to meet you. Everything will be fine.” He replies, “I hope so.” Vidya remarks, “Armaan will be happy with Ruhi.”
Just then, Abhira receives a call. She says, “I have no connection with that family or wedding.” She answers the call. Charu says, “It’s me, Charu. Armaan’s sword is missing, and the new wedding planner doesn’t know about it.” Manisha and Vidya leave. Dadi expresses, “I will never forget what you are doing for this house. Stay happy.”
Armaan, moved to tears, removes his pagdi, remembering Abhira’s words. He thinks, “I’m so sorry, I don’t have the courage to stand up for our love.” Vidya urges him to come downstairs. Meanwhile, Abhira talks to Charu. Armaan takes the phone and sees Abhira on the video call. “Maine zindagi tere naam ki…” plays in the background. Armaan instructs Charu to leave.
Abhira applies a black dot to him as a protective mark. Her bus ticket flies off, and the conductor calls for passengers for the Mussoorie bus. Abhira wishes Armaan well before ending the call. Vidya calls out for him to come soon. Abhira searches for the ticket, and the conductor urges her to hurry. She finally finds it and boards the bus.
