The episode begins with Abhira saying she will go and call the person she wanted to meet. She hears Kajal and recalls Sanjay’s words, thinking that love loses in front of family, but she has neither love nor family. She then overhears Dadi talking to Vidya and Madhav, suggesting they go on a holiday for their anniversary.
Vidya agrees, saying it’s a good idea for a family vacation. Abhira feels happy for them. Meanwhile, guests congratulate Manish, and Surekha comments that she saw them at Rohit’s wedding. Manish questions why they were invited to their party.
Abhira accidentally bumps into Gayatri Bua. Gayatri blesses her and expresses sorrow over Abhira and Armaan’s divorce, despite being a distant relative of Armaan. Abhira responds that if Gayatri truly cared, she would have called her and questions why she is at the Goenka party. Gayatri explains that Kaveri Mami invited her for a special occasion. Abhira suspects Dadisa is planning something and feels she shouldn’t be there.
Manish brings out the cake for Abhira as a dance performance begins. Charu dances with the girls to “Roohdariyaan tumhe se hai…” Aryan and Kiara join in, and Armaan takes Ruhi to dance.
Abhira imagines herself dancing with Armaan. Suddenly, Charu presents the rings, and Dadi announces a surprise. Ruhi and Armaan will get engaged today, along with their roka ceremony. Abhira is shocked as Manish throws the rings plate away, causing everyone to worry.
He declares that Ruhi and Armaan’s engagement will not happen. Dadi questions his actions, but Manish stands firm, stating that Ruhi’s respect is not so fragile, and his answer remains no.
She declares that she will arrange the marriage. Suwarna apologizes, saying she wants them to marry but points out the wrongdoing. Surekha accuses, “Ruhi is our daughter, you didn’t consult us even once.” Dadi explains that Manish was not willing to discuss it.
Manish confirms, “Yes, Ruhi and Armaan cannot be together.” Armaan questions the necessity of the current situation. Dadi directly asks him if he wants to marry Ruhi. He affirms but emphasizes he wants everyone’s happiness and doesn’t want to repeat past mistakes like with Abhira. Madhav takes Armaan aside, while Abhira cries.
Manish approaches her, but she asks him to remain silent. Madhav advises Armaan to follow his heart, pointing out Maasa’s stubbornness about the marriage, but urges him to consider his own life. Manish and Abhira overhear. Madhav admits they’re suffering because he listened to Maasa.
Armaan retorts, accusing Madhav of selfishness and declaring he won’t be the same. Madhav questions if he will hurt Abhira. Armaan insists he doesn’t care, emphasizing Ruhi’s importance to the family. He states definitively, “I’m marrying Ruhi, that’s final.” Abhira sobs as Manish watches her.
Dadi asks Charu to find the ring. Charu retrieves it. Manisha suggests they return home, but Dadi insists that Ruhi’s engagement must happen. Ruhi interjects, expressing her loyalty to Manish and surprise at Dadi’s actions. Armaan and Madhav arrive. Sanjay asks Maasa for direction.
Abhira receives a message and stands up. Manish stumbles and injures himself. Abhira helps him and offers to break a pot in frustration. She supports him to the family. Ruhi, concerned, inquires about his injury.
Manish reassures her. She apologizes for the inconvenience and promises not to get engaged without his consent, pledging to fight for his support. He looks at Abhira before agreeing to the engagement. Ruhi thanks and hugs him, while Abhira, in tears, turns away and leaves. Krish hands over a first aid box, and Ruhi tends to Manish’s wound. Abhira meets a man who informs her she missed a job interview.
She apologizes and suggests a restaurant meeting, but he insists on talking there as he has a flight to catch. Dadi announces the start of the engagement ceremony, noting the guests’ wait. Armaan proposes celebrating Manish and Suwarna’s engagement and postponing his own for a week. Dadi questions the delay.
Vidya and Kajal encourage Armaan to proceed with the engagement. Manish, feeling resigned, remarks it doesn’t matter anymore. Abhira observes quietly as Charu brings the rings.
