The episode opens with a tense confrontation between Manish and Suwarna. Manish expresses his disappointment, citing Aarohi’s past sacrifices for her sister. He feels ashamed of Ruhi’s actions, especially regarding Armaan. He calls Ruhi urgently, wanting to discuss Armaan and her.
Ruhi, upon seeing Armaan’s worried state, debates whether to share Manish’s concerns with him. Meanwhile, Manish brings Ruhi to Aarohi and Neil’s pictures, pressing her to justify her actions in breaking off Armaan and Abhira’s engagement. He admonishes her, leading to Ruhi breaking down in tears. Manish reveals that he could have disclosed Ruhi’s love for Armaan to Kaveri, but Ruhi defends her actions, explaining that Armaan and Abhira’s marriage is a temporary arrangement known to everyone at home.
In another setting, Armaan searches for Madhav and comes across news of a hostel fire incident, which reminds him of Abhira. The scene shifts to a celebration where Shrishti cuts a cake, and everyone takes pictures. Abhira is offered a bottle, but she declines, prompting the girls to insist. Seeing Armaan, Abhira recalls his words.
Ruhi explains her situation, expressing regret for her actions with Rohit and her desire to be with Armaan. She seeks guidance on how to navigate her feelings without losing her love. Armaan observes Abhira’s drunken antics, hinting at a brewing drama.
He halts her, questioning her drinking. Defiant, she challenges his right to inquire. A heated argument ensues, the girls gossip about him, questioning why Abhira remains. Feeling unjustly accused at home, Abhira vents her frustration, declaring her intent to enjoy herself now. She urges the girls to turn on the music, and a breakup song fills the air. Dancing and drinking, Abhira defies Armaan’s attempt to intervene, prompting him to throw her bottle in frustration.
The girls depart, followed by Armaan, leaving Abhira alone. She picks up the glass bottle, which cuts her finger. Meanwhile, Armaan, preoccupied with thoughts of her, drives home and narrowly avoids hitting Manish. Apologizing, he asks if Manish is unharmed, but receives a slap instead. Manish condemns Armaan for breaking Ruhi’s heart, calling him a deceitful man.
Armaan apologizes again, but Manish insists he should have been honest. Armaan challenges Manish, asking if he would truly sacrifice his own happiness for family. After explaining his dilemma, Armaan invites Manish to retaliate.
Ruhi looks on as Manish speaks, “You need to face the truth and tackle your problems. Distance yourself from Ruhi; stop trying to fix her life.” He walks away, leaving Ruhi in tears. She apologizes, “Please don’t take Manish’s words to heart. He’s scared and believes Dadisa won’t accept our relationship. You’re a good person, and I trust you to protect me from any harm.”
Meanwhile, Abhira is working on her assignment when she notices a reminder. At the same time, Armaan also receives the reminder. A flashback shows Armaan bringing coffee for Abhira, who is focused on her assignment. He advises her to complete it on time, teasing her about being careless. She playfully pulls his nose, calling him cute.
He offers to sync their calendars to remind her about assignments, then goes to get coffee for her. The flashback ends, and Abhira is left in tears. Armaan contemplates calling her to remind her about the assignment, but she hears her phone ringing and realizes it’s not him. Disheartened, she tells herself to focus on her work, feeling her hope dashed since Armaan wouldn’t call her after she turned him down.
Vidya appears lost in thought. Ruhi approaches, expressing empathy, “I can’t begin to imagine the pain you’re feeling.” Vidya, with a tremor in her voice, responds, “I never realized our bond was so fragile, that it could shatter because of Abhira.”
Meanwhile, Dadi seeks out Armaan urgently. “Madhav isn’t listening to reason,” she explains. “He’s determined to leave the house. It’s up to you now to ensure he stays.”
