The episode commences with Vidya sternly declaring the end of any relationship between herself and Abhira, who breaks down in tears. Vidya confronts Abhira, demanding to know why she deceitfully married Armaan. Abhira confesses it was due to the coercion of the manipulative Yuvraj. Vidya expresses regret for blindly supporting Abhira against Maasa, realizing her mistake.
She humbly seeks Maasa’s forgiveness, acknowledging her folly. Dadi intervenes, blaming Abhira for all the chaos in the household and ridiculing her for the inevitable failure of her marriage to Armaan after a year. She rebukes Abhira for exploiting Armaan’s kindness and decides she must endure a year in the household before leaving. Dadi scorns Abhira for compromising her ethics by staying under a man’s roof and in his room. Despite Abhira’s plea of helplessness, Dadi orders her to pack her belongings and leave immediately, causing distress among the family members.
Meanwhile, Manish discusses Ruhi’s trip to Mussoorie to meet someone, suspecting Suwarna’s involvement. Suwarna denies any knowledge, trying to alleviate the tension with a suggestion to have buttermilk. Aryan, Krish, and Kiara approach Abhira as she prepares to depart. They inquire about her leaving, to which Abhira confirms and reassures them not to be saddened, reminding them she is not their genuine sister-in-law. Aryan acknowledges the legitimacy of Abhira and Armaan’s marriage, leaving Abhira in tears as she bids farewell.
Dadi sternly rejects Armaan’s intentions, denying his defense of the girl. Armaan, however, stands firm, citing his commitment to educate and assist her, a promise made to her mother. Dadi questions his decision to marry the girl, suggesting he could have supported her without marriage, and challenges why they cohabited if their union was doomed.
Armaan refutes any romantic connection, asserting they are merely friends despite appearances. Kiara interjects, questioning their shared celebrations, to which Dadi reminds of the girl’s transgressions within the family. Armaan acknowledges her missteps but underscores her mother’s sacrifice for him.
Meanwhile, Abhira prepares to depart, asserting her detachment from others as commonplace. Aryan probes if she’ll miss them, prompting emotional farewells before they leave. Left alone, Abhira gazes at Armaan’s picture, lamenting the absence of his affection.
Armaan, grappling with the situation, seeks understanding, yet faces Dadi’s censure for his actions, torn between his obligations to Abhira and his family’s expectations. Madhav highlights the impending dilemma: honoring his promise may disrupt familial harmony. Armaan reaffirms Abhira as solely his responsibility, prompting her descent downstairs, dropping her bag in silent resolve.
